Surimu☆Channel Poll #25

May 7, 2017

Can you believe it?! I’m actually making a poll post again! =O I know I’ve had something like six polls on here since Poll #24 (and a few Twitter polls as well), but I’m just going to pretend like those didn’t count~. XD

So! Poll #25 asks which of my 2017 dance cover outfits you like the most (so far). Please note that it does not include “THE FUTURE” (because I hardly count that as much of a “costume”/dance outfit XD) or “Iroppoi Jirettai” (because, even though I’ve shared the outfit, I haven’t uploaded the dance yet).

As for me… ahh… it’s probably a toss-up between “Mukidashi de Mukiatte” and “Ran Ra Run ~Anata ni Muchuu~.” … Although I’m quite happy with how the outfit for “Jankenpyon!” turned out… and I actually rather like how the one for “Internet Cupid” turned out, too… You see, this is why I usually can’t participate in my own polls. XD Okay, I think “Mukidashi de Mukiatte” is my favorite cool outfit so far and “Ran Ra Run ~Anata ni Muchuu~” is my favorite cute outfit so far. … But that’s still more than one choice. I’m so bad at this. XD I’ll probably close this poll after I get… maybe ten votes? (Just watch; it will be up for months. XD)

Surimuchan Vlogs…?

March 6, 2017

Here’s another poll!

I feel like my vlogs are kind of dying, though… orz

Yet Another Twitter Poll…

February 25, 2017

Really rather curious about this one…

My first guess would have been tutorials, but I don’t think the MINI Tutorials are as popular as the full ones were. Maybe the dance challenges… because I know my vlogs are kind of flops. orz (Just to clarify, “Other” would be stuff like bloopers, outfit videos, Agent 36 clips, etc.)

Thank you~!

Another Quick Poll…

February 17, 2017

Please let me know which one you prefer~!

Thank you~!

A Quick Poll…

January 24, 2017

Please let me know how you most often find out about my new videos! I’m thinking of trying something out… but I need some information first~.

Thank you in advance~!

Berryz Koubou Dance Cover Poll #2

October 1, 2014

The results are in~! From this set of Berryz Koubou dances, the winner was…

Shining Power

Here’s a look at the final count:

                  Shining Power             13 votes        46.43%
1-Oku 3-Senman Sou Diet Oukoku        10 votes        35.71%
Jiriri Kiteru                              2 votes        7.14%
Aa, Yo ga Akeru                        2 votes        7.14%
Nanchuu Koi wo Yatteru YOU KNOW?        1 vote        3.57%

… Okay, I’ve obviously lost my ability to predict the outcome of my polls. I thought for sure that “Jiriri Kiteru” would win. Not. Even. Close. XD

I was mildly surprised when “Shining Power” got a few votes (I remember that the music video didn’t seem to have an amazing reception, but I thought people generally liked the song), but “1-Oku 3-Senman Sou Diet Oukoku” was a huge surprise! I hadn’t thought that one was well-received at all (though I liked the song)! The fact that it was in the lead for a while was even more mind-blowing. O_O To be honest, I didn’t really expect “Aa, Yo ga Akeru” or “Nanchuu Koi wo Yatteru YOU KNOW?” to get many (if any) votes. (^_^”)> But, “Shining Power” beat them all out in the end.

Well, the final poll is up! This one only has four options, as I had to take one out to use for… something else~. ~_^ And there is no way, absolutely NO way I can be wrong about the outcome for this one. (Now watch me get it wrong. XD) Voting ends on Halloween~.

Happy voting~!

Berryz Koubou Dance Cover Poll #1

September 1, 2014

The results are in~! As I stated previously, my next Berryz Koubou dance cover will be “Ai wa Itsumo Kimi no Naka ni.” (I already have it learned; I just need to find time to record it. orz) After that, it looks like I will be doing…

Heroine ni Narou ka!

Here’s a look at the final count:

Heroine ni Narou ka!          10 votes          40%
cha cha SING          9 votes          36%
21ji Made no Cinderella          4 votes          16%
Dschinghis Khan          1 vote          4%
Seishun Bus Guide          1 vote          4%

I was actually a bit surprised! I thought for sure that “Seishun Bus Guide” would win. XDD I was obviously way off. “Heroine ni Narou ka!” was my second guess, though~. “cha cha SING” was actually ahead for a couple of days, but a last-minute (or last-day) comeback turned it back to “Heroine ni Narou ka!” (which had been in the lead for most of the month).

That being said, the new poll is up~. There are five more Berryz dances to choose from. Okay, this time, I’m fairly confident in which one is going to win (based on what I’ve known to be generally popular songs)… but I won’t say it yet. ~_^

Happy voting~!

Berryz Koubou Ikube~!

August 2, 2014

I’m sure everyone who follows Hello! Project already knows about Berryz Koubou‘s announcement of their indefinite hiatus starting in the spring of 2015. To be honest, it hit me rather hard. The members of Berryz are closest to my age (of all of the H!P groups), and I always really enjoyed the originality of a lot of the songs they were given, even if they weren’t the highest-selling. Also, I often felt that Berryz got a bit cheated when it came to things like costumes, PVs, etc. orz

While it will be terribly sad to see them go, they’re not gone yet, so I’d really like to support them strongly until their hiatus (I know a lot of the translations are saying “suspension,” but that sounds so negative to me… so I’ll stick with “hiatus”). Because I’d say this is the biggest H!P news since the Elder Club graduation in 2009, I’d like to do something big.

What am I going to do? I haven’t the faintest idea. XD I’m going to do dance covers, of course, but I’d like do something else, too. I tweeted about working on a Berryz dance earlier using #BerryzKoboIkube (which kind of drives me insane because I usually romanize it as “Berryz Koubou.” XD However, in their YouTube videos, they romanize it as “Kobo,” so I decided to go with that.). For those that don’t know “Berryz Koubou Ikube~!” is their pre-concert shout (to get fired up etc.). I wonder if others would consider using this hashtag (or another; I’m not picky!) on a certain day to try to get Berryz trending. I know it can be done! Fans of the Johnny’s Entertainment group NEWS and their former member Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi) got #deadfisheyes to trend on Twitter to promote Yamapi’s single. XDD Maybe we could all use #BerryzKoboIkube the day their next single releases~! Just a thought…

What else? I usually buy their singles on iTunes (so I have quicker access to the music for dances), but maybe I’ll buy the physical copies for their upcoming singles, too. Wouldn’t that be amazing if they finally achieved number one on the Oricon weekly chart? I know it’s a stretch, but optimism, everyone, optimism~!! (I know there was an article about Oricon not counting overseas sales anymore, but I also read that YesAsia is a partner of Oricon, and that’s where I order my CDs, soo…) ^__^

Another thought was encouraging others to dance to “Futsuu, Idol 10nen Yatterannai Desho!?” I think it’s appropriate for the situation (and, argh, if that song hasn’t become suddenly bittersweet). TT_TT Either the regular dance or, though I hesitate to suggest it because I don’t want to sound big-headed, my tribute version would work, I think. OOH, what if others chose their own moves from every Berryz song to use?! (I’m totally just writing whatever I think of now. XD)

I’m kind of on the fence about my last idea, which is a Berryz-related collaboration. I’d have to figure out what song and how many people and a due date and such, but it could be a possibility if I could find time to do it…

I don’t know. What are everyone’s thoughts? Feel free to reply (on here or Facebook or YouTube or Twitter) and let me know what you think.

Lastly, I mentioned watching out for a poll on my Facebook page. I’m going to start learning “Ai wa Itsumo Kimi no Naka ni,” but, for this poll, I’m going to list a few random Berryz Koubou songs/dances, and I would like you to choose your favorite. The dance that has the most votes at the end of the month will be the next Berryz dance I do (after “Ai wa Itsumo…”). I will have three polls like this, each with five different dances. Voting will last one month for each one.

Okay! That’s what I have to say about that. Berryz Koubou Ikube~~~~!!! XD

Poll #23 and #24 Results

September 8, 2011

#23 Which “~ Surimu☼Summer Set ~” video was your favorite?

Shanimuni Paradise – 13.33%  – 2 votes
Natsu Wakame – 13.33%  – 2 votes
Shochuu Omimai Moushiagemasu – 6.67% – 1 vote
Suki-chan – 13.33%  – 2 votes
Take It Easy! – 46.67% – 7 votes
Sekai wa Summer Party – 6.67% – 1 vote
Kamome no Suihei-san – 0% – 0 votes

These results were totally unexpected. O_O I guess I severely underestimated the popularity of “Take It Easy!” I couldn’t believe “Sekai wa Summer Party” got a vote. XD I was a bit surprised that “Kamome no Suihei-san” didn’t get any votes…

#24 Which of Surimu-chan’s Douyou Pops dance covers do you like best?

Mushi no Koe – 25% – 3 votes
Aka Hana no Tonakai – 25% – 3 votes
Oo Makiba wa Midori – 16.67% – 2 votes
Kamome no Suihei-san – 33.33% – 4 votes

This one was more expected; the results are fairly equal. I honestly couldn’t choose one myself. (^_^”)> At least “Kamome no Suihei-san” made up for its lack of votes in the other poll. =)

~Update 43~

August 1, 2011

Though I’m sure you’ve noticed by now, スリム☆チャンネル Polls #23 and #24 are up. =D #23 asks which of the “~ Surimu☼Summer Set ~” dances is your favorite, and #24 asks which of the Douyou Pops dances is your favorite. Personally, I’m tempted to say “夏わかめ” is my favorite for the summer dances; I think I like it because it was fun, and it’s a more obscure song. I’m not sure, but I believe Berryz kas only performed it twice. I always like doing songs that aren’t well known if I can see enough of the dance to learn it.

That’s probably why I had so much fun with the Douyou Pops dances, too; no one else has danced to them. Also, the dances were fairly easy to see (I still wish I could dance to “雪,” but it’s hard to see. T_T I might be able to piece it together from the moments with the darker background, but for now… orz), and they were short, and I got to play around with special effects. =D I loved working on all of them, so I don’t know if I can pick a favorite. (^_^”)>

In other news, I’m now using the Moderator module on YouTube. You can submit your requests/suggestions on my YouTube channel, and others can vote on them. Please note that this is a trial run; I’m not sure if I’ll continue using this method for requests. I’ll have it up for the month of August. If it works out, I’ll continue using it; if not, then I’m not sure how I’ll handle requests…

In video related news, the tutorial for “LOVE & JOY” is done. I’ll upload it in a couple of days. I’m going to try to record the steps for the “女と男のララバイゲーム” tutorial tonight. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to record the steps, but the audio is also done for the “Ability to Stir the Audience to Dance” tutorial. I’ve started writing the tutorial for the girl’s part of “右肩の蝶.” I plan on doing two separate tutorial uploads for the girl’s part and the guy’s part. This is the only time I will be doing something like this. I would have split screened it, but, near the end, when one side is repeating one section and the other side is repeating another section, I didn’t want it to get too confusing (… for myself as well…) so I decided to make two tutorials. I will probably copy and paste the directions for certain parts of the dance (when the moves are the same).

I’ve also started looking at the dance for “こころのたまご,” which was requested in June. Besides that… I actually came up with a couple of more theme ideas for dance sets. XD orz I doubt I’ll ever do one with as many dances as the summer set had again, but I can’t help but love grouping dances like that. XD

That’s all for now~! ^__^
