しょうがない 夢追い人 (Dance Cover) Trivia

– I love this song so much. I remember how excited I was when I heard that Morning Musume had gotten #1 on the Oricon weekly charts for this single. It was the first #1 they had gotten since I started listening to them, so this song is special to me~.

– I’ve been wanting to do this dance forever~~. This has been on multiple “Dances to Do” lists, so it was really satisfying to cross it off all of those. =D

– I wish I could have matched someone’s outfit better, but it seems that I don’t have any cream-colored clothing, much less swishy dresses like they’re wearing. orz

– I was rather unhappy with how similar this outfit looked to the one I wore for “Motto Zutto Issho ni Itakatta,” but I couldn’t think of much else to change it. (^__^”)

– I started out wearing knee-high white socks as substitutes for the white boots that they’re wearing in the music video, but it looked pretty terrible, so I got rid of them. XD

– I almost did shed a tear during the very last line of the song because I think it’s such a powerful line… but I kept it together. XD

– I think Kamei might just have the most awkward opening/closing pose ever. XD

– I don’t even know how much dress tape I went through to keep the sleeves of my top down like that for the multiple takes I did. orz

– One thing I had to fix after I did a practice filming was the fact that I didn’t continue to look at the camera as I walked away from it during the verses. I think keeping eye contact with the camera as I walk away looks much better because it fits with the longing feeling of the song.

– The finger biting moves are a bit awkward, aren’t they? … Or is that just me? XD

– I desaturated the video a bit and added the white, circular border to keep with the wistful feeling~.

– I had an orthodontist appointment just a few hours before I filmed this. I was fine when it was over, but let me tell you… it’s rather painful when they’re pulling impacted teeth around. O___O

I suppose that’s all for this one~. Thank you for watching and reading (and a Happy (early) Fourth of July to my fellow Americans!)! ♥
