ハッピートラップ (Dance Cover) Trivia

– I filmed this dance Friday, October 17th.

– I filmed this dance almost immediately after I got home from an orthodontic consultation. Long story short, oral surgery may be in my future, but I got to see a 3D X-ray of my skull, so there’s always that… XD

– It’s rather hard to see until the end, but my sweatshirt has dalmatians a~ll over it! Cuuuute! ♥

– I was a bit of a fool to wear shorts when it was as chilly and windy as it was outside, but my hands and mouth got the worst of it. I was having trouble moving my hands/arms properly after so many takes, and my lips got rather chapped and stuck to my gums, which is why I didn’t lip-sync for over half of the song. (That, and I hadn’t had time to learn all of the lyrics properly.) XD orz

– The wood piles behind me were from a bunch of trees that fell over and/or were struck by lightning during a massive storm we had a couple months back. They were quite the blessing as it’s supposed to be a very cold winter this year~.

– It took me forever to find the proper spot to dance in front of the wood piles. At first, I danced in front of the pile to my right (the left side of the video), which was stacked on that cement slab I sometimes dance on. However, it was an odd angle, so I ended up on the side of the video instead of in the center, and I didn’t turn around enough for some parts, so that made the angle seem even more awkward.

– I must apologize for some of the fake-looking faces I make throughout the video; those were my “I can’t really feel my face, but I need to be expressive!” faces. … They didn’t work out. XDD

– It kind of looks like I have one small section of my hair crimped, but those are bobby pins. XD

– Another reason I wanted to dance outside? To play in the leaves. =D There were only a couple points during the dance that I managed to kick some leaves up, which is why I had to slide some around at the end~. (^_^”)

I guess that’s all I have for this one… Since it’s already after midnight, one of my brothers gave me my birthday gifts; he got me “Tales of the Abyss” for 3DS (I had only heard the title in passing, but I had thought about trying it out eventually… and now I can!) as well as a TMNT USB drive (it’s a little shell~~~!!). My eldest brother gave me my gifts earlier: a TMNT T-shirt (TMNT-shirt?) and a figure of the original Mirage version of Donatello~. Yaaay~! Also, though it wasn’t exactly a birthday present, I got an autographed picture of Rob Paulsen on Saturday! Those of you who follow me on Twitter may have seen it (and you may have seen that he retweeted it! Aaahhh~!!). =D

Thank you all for watching and reading~! ^__^ (And I would also like to thank everyone who likes my Facebook page~; I had been just under 1,900 likes for so long that I didn’t think I’d ever get past it! XD)
