アジアン セレブレイション (Dance Cover) Trivia

– I’ve known this dance for a while, but I’ve been so busy with the “LOVE Machine” collaboration (and work, of course) that I haven’t had a chance to film it until now. (^_^”)>

– Since I didn’t have a zebra-striped outfit, I had to go with my usual “solid color with printed accessories” outfit. I took strips of white fabric and drew zebra stripes on them, then I pinned them to my skirt and sweatshirt. Instead of having stripes with black fringe, I had black with zebra fringe. XD It’s kind of hard to see, though… orz

– I wanted to try to keep most of my hair on one side so that it didn’t upset the fringe (… that didn’t work XD), so I parted it to the side and used hairspray to keep the larger side out of my face. It worked… for all of five minutes, then it started to lose its shape. (>_<*) *sigh* Hairspray and curling irons and all of that stuff just doesn’t seem to work on me. Not to mention the fact that I can’t stand the feel of hairspray, and I’m trying to type this trivia as fast as I can so I can go wash it out and yuck yuck gross ARGH! O__O XDD

– After the hairspray failed, I had to use about a billion (that’s an exaggeration) bobby pins to keep my hair out of my face.

– Speaking of pins, around thirty safety pins were used for this outfit. o_O

– The opening moves were so incredibly irritating for this dance. I had the timing right, then I watched the video and changed my timing (forgetting that the timing in the video was slightly off (-_-*)), so I ended up getting it weirdly off/on for the final cut. orz

– Yes, I’m wearing boots again. I figured that, because this dance didn’t have a lot of sliding, I could dance in them on the carpet. However! Right near the end, you can see my boot get caught on the carpet when I’m sliding my foot closer. FRICTION! *grumbles* I still say that you shouldn’t expect too many indoor videos with my wearing shoes. (^_^”)>

– The boots, even though they fit me just fine before (or seemed to…), were a bit loose. To try to remedy that, I wore two pairs of no-show socks: one with leopard spots and one with whales. XD

– As I said in the video description, I followed Momo’s part for this dance, except in a couple of spots. I liked Captain’s “vampire” pose so much that I had to do it even though I wasn’t following her part. XD Also, at the end of the slower part of the song, I looked up as I was moving my hands up so that I could look down in time to say “Here we go.”

– I knew all of Miyabi’s spoken lines, but I was concentrating so hard on getting the dance right that I didn’t say most of them. orz

– As my mom pointed out, I winked during each one of the “chikyuu!” lines. I couldn’t seem to help it! XD And I did it again just before the last repetition of the chorus! XDD Oh nooo~…

Okay, that’s all for this one~! Just so everyone knows, the “LOVE Machine” collab participants are hard at work on their parts! Because I have terrible timing (finals and all), it may be a little while before the project is completed, but it will definitely happen! ^_^ Anyway, since I just washed that hairspray out of my hair (thanks to the upload freezing so I had to restart and wait even longer orz), I’m thinking maybe… Dragon Quest VIII and a four cheese pizza pocket! =D Whee~!!

(I just watched my video on YouTube… does anyone else think the timing got thrown off?! My original video wasn’t like that… I wonder if it has something to do with the video quality…? Or maybe it’s my connection. That seems likely. (>_<*))

No your time wasn’t off too much maybe half sec. but it was still petty good. Don’t worry about gettin hook on the carpet I don’t think people will notices it to much. 😉

I haven’t had the honor of playing Dragon Quest VIII but I see it. The charaters remind me of Dragon Ball Z. I don’t know if u see that anime series but they do look somewhat similar.

I can’t wait to see ur “Love Machine” collab. Its like waiting for a new movie to hit theaters theres all this excitement waiting to see it. But don’t get angry at what I said I’ll try to contain my excitement. I can wait. I have to wait for “Pacific Rim” to hit theaters and that does it come out till july.

Ah, I’m glad to hear the delay wasn’t that noticeable. ^_^

Yep~, the man that designed the Dragon Ball Z characters also designed the characters for Dragon Quest. =D I think they’re fun designs~.

The “LOVE Machine” collaboration is coming together, though very slowly as expected of a project this size. I definitely hope to get it out before summer ends, though! ^_^

      Thank you for watching~!
