白いTOKYO (Dance Cover) Trivia

– This dance was filmed quite a while ago. I’ll edit this to include the exact date later, but, at the moment, I don’t have my laptop. My brother took it to fix it a few days ago, and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get my dance edited, but I was able to do so on the family computer~. ^_^

– I’ve wanted to do this dance for a long time, because I love this song, but I had such a hard time seeing the dance moves that I learned ones with dance shots instead. (^_^”)>

– I watched at least six or seven different videos (both live performances and the music video) for this dance to learn it.

– This is only the third dance cover I’ve worn those white pants in (the others being my first video, “Kimagure Princess,” and my 101st video, “Bad Apple!!”).

– The sheer fabric around my waist is the same fabric I used for my dance cover of “Tsukiatteru no ni Kataomoi.” I had the same problem with it slipping off as I did before, but I pinned in on this time (though it was after an embarrassingly long time that I thought to do so (^_^”)>).

– I had originally wanted the fabric to fluff out more as it did in ZYX’s outfits, but I ended up preferring the way mine looked. (^_^”)>

– The scarf was a last-minute decision, because I thought I’d continue the draping look that the other fabric created.

– The background was a reference to my Christmas video “Aka Hana no Tonakai.” This time, however, I covered more of the wall and made more paper snowflakes. I also used a star-shaped hole punch to make the little stars that are sprinkled around the snowflakes (though you can’t tell that they’re stars…).

– Though the white border cuts me off a bit, I liked how it cut off the higher parts of the wall that I couldn’t cover with fabric. I also liked the glowing sort of effect it had~.

– Besides the “Fade In from White” and “Fade Out to White” and the white border effects, I also increased the brightness on this video twice, though I didn’t increase the saturation as I usually do (you can only have up to six effects on one clip (^_^”)>).

– On the way upstairs to get safety pins to hold the fabric up, I was so frustrated (that I hadn’t gotten a proper take yet) that I didn’t watch where I was going and accidentally ran into the bar that was sticking out from the weight bench. I got a slight bruise on my bicep as well as a huge feeling of embarrassment for having gotten so worked up. orz The bruise is somewhat visible in the video, but it completely healed in a few hours.

– My favorite moves include the spin when I have my arms up in the air and the kick soon after that.

– The ending clip was filmed a few minutes before I went to work yesterday morning.

– The snowflake at the end was originally one made for the wall, but I decided it was too big. I still wanted to use it, though, so I included it in the ending clip.

That’s about all for this one~. Thank you so much for your patience, everyone, and thank you for watching! ^__^

Merry Christmas, everyone~! ♥
