ホントのじぶん (Dance Cover) Trivia

– I wanted to follow Airi for this dance because I hadn’t followed her for one of Buono!’s dances yet~ (I did Miyabi’s part in “Renai Rider” and Momo’s part in everything else). ^_^

– However, because I’m so used to following Momo, I inadvertently made some of my movements more like hers than Airi’s (such as the punching during the “Yeah”s). orz

– I used hairspray for the first (and probably last) time for this dance… two small sprays and I felt like I was going to get sick. x_x

– The wristband was made to look like Airi’s card suit wristband (which I hadn’t noticed until I looked for pictures of her outfit just before I filmed). I simply drew the pattern on a piece of white fabric and then pinned that fabric to the white wristband from my “Yuujou” (and “Kiramekirari”) dance cover.

– As much as I like the wristband, the pattern was drawn with permanent makers, so the smell was kind of powerful. o_O With that coming at me from the right and the hairspray from the left, I was caught in a pincer attack and I didn’t have Back Guard/Alarm Earring equipped. D= ….. XDD

– The tie is that same black one that I usually use~. I colored 3×3 squares of graph paper red and taped them to the tie to make the checkered pattern. And now for a sad story: after messing up a few takes, I finally finished one… only to find that one of the squares had fallen off. TT_TT After that, I made sure that the squares were taped down well and that the tie couldn’t flip around too much (it was pinned to my shirt and my silver belt, which is why the belt doesn’t go around evenly).

– I also had to readjust the clip in my hair; it was a bit too far forward, because pieces of my hair kept getting stuck on the tape that held the squares to the tie. After the first bad take, I started taking my hair off the tape only to remove five or six of the squares. I panicked. XD

– Because my tie was pinned in such a way, the move around 3:13 (where I was supposed to kind of hug myself) ended up looking really awkward. XD I didn’t want to touch the tie in case the squares came loose, and I didn’t want to try to put my arm all the way through the space between the pins, because that would have looked ridiculous (and I probably would have gotten stuck). XD I almost started laughing.

– I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this in another trivia post or not, but the move where I hop on one foot and swing the other one back is one of my absolute favorite dance moves~.

– Around 1:16, when I swing my arms down, I had thought that the camera had glitched a bit, because it looked like my arms sped up a lot about halfway through the swing. I watched that section slowed, but there didn’t seem to be any sort of skip, so I must have sped up myself. o_O

– I was so worried about the squares falling off that, after I finished the dance, I looked around for any squares. When I saw that none had fallen, I said, “SAAAAAFE.” … This was all before I shut the camera off. XD (I didn’t leave it in the final edit because I had a somewhat sickly look on my face because of the hairspray. orz)

– For all the problems the accessories caused, I still rather liked how they turned out~.

– After Momo’s “Wakaru!,” you can see that I started grinning because 1) I’ve always liked that part, and 2) I was sure I had looked weird doing that. XD It didn’t turn out as silly as I had thought.

– I wanted to shake my head more during the dance break, but I didn’t want my hair to flip in my face or get caught on the tape again. orz

– After I finished writing this trivia, I started to practice another dance. While looking down, I noticed something red on the toes of my left foot, so I sat down and looked at the bottom of my foot… there was red all over between the first two toes. O_O So, after freaking out a bit, I realized that it was red permanent marker. XD How on earth did that even happen?! I don’t remember coloring with my feet! XDD I cleaned it off, and went back to practice… then I noticed some red on my other foot, so I sat down to look. Aaand again. Red permanent marker everywhere. Seriously… how. The only thing I can think of is if my feet ever touched any of the red squares right after I had colored them, and, if I was sitting cross-legged, that’s plausible enough. Honestly… how do I manage these things. XDD orz

Hmm… I thinks that’s it. (There’s already more than enough! XD) Okay~, thank you for watching and reading! I’ll try to respond back to the “Dance Tips” comments as soon as possible~ (there are over fifty!! =O).

Just a quick note on your split screened videos- They look really REALLY NICE, I cant even tell its you on both sides most of the time, you have the timing great, and the choreography is excellent, just, as a bit of advice, try to stay away from the center It makes whatever body part you put there fade out and makes the transition really obvious. And it starts erasing your shadow too..

I’m already aware of that~. XD In fact, I often mention the split lines in the video descriptions, trivia, and comments for split screened dances (I even used it in a joke in the ending for my fiftieth video). The thing is, for some dances, it can be difficult to stay in one place so that I don’t ruin the split screen. (^_^”)> For example, in “Bad Apple!!,” I need to jump toward the center and swing one arm up and over; the room I’m in isn’t as big as it looks, so there’s not much room to work with. Lack of room is also the problem for split screens with more than one split line; I can only use small movements in those dances. (^_^”)> As for the shadows, I can’t control those; I need the lamps so that the videos aren’t too dark. (^_^”)> Thanks for watching my videos~.
