ハロ/ハワユ (Dance Cover) Trivia

– Something about this one really throws me off, which is why I avoided doing it for quite a while. (^_^”)> It could be the strange fast-slowness of the song and dance. o_O

– As I said in the video description, I’m sorry for not smiling! m(_ _)m I suppose I could have at least smiled during the “Thank you” parts… orz I was going for thoughtful and slightly distressed with a touch of solemnity, but I ended up looking angry with a bit of indifference (or indifferent with a bit of anger…). XD orz That’s more or less my normal face (which one of my high school friends told me looked like a death glare). orz

– I rather liked my outfit for this one, except that the jacket was rather loud. XD You know, the swishing sound of windbreakers and such? That.

– I added a brightening effect to the video twice to get it to look like that (I did the same thing for “Pyoko Pyoko Ultra,” but I actually did this dance first). I was going to add a film grain effect as well, but I figured others would prefer a clearer video. I considered adding a light color to the border instead of having white-on-white, but I ended up preferring that to anything else.

– I filmed this February 20th (I know! quite a while ago!), but I didn’t want to upload it until A) I had the tutorial completely done (this had already been asked for a lot, and I didn’t especially want any more requests for it (^_^”)>) and B) I had passed my 200th video. To be perfectly honest, I’m rather wary of uploading any dances anymore for fear of tutorial requests. orz (And, just to be clear, just because a lot of people ask for a dance/tutorial, does not mean I’m going to do it… “Panda Hero” and “PONPONPON” for example.)

– Again, as I said in the video description, I learned this dance from both デビ作 and Kozue. I tried to follow デビ作 more, as he was the original choreographer, but there were a few parts where I preferred Kozue’s version, such as the added hop around 0:19, the arm movements around 1:56, and tapping one’s toes down instead of one’s heels around 2:06.

– It took me a long time to get the timing right for the beginning of the ending leg swings. I eventually had to add the swinging move for my left arm to get the timing right. (^_^”)>

That’s all for this one~.
