かもめの水兵さん (Dance Cover) Trivia

– All of the clips for this video were filmed on July 28th. I was afraid I wasn’t going to make it in time. o_o

– I tried filming this on the 27th, but, for some reason, my camera changes angles without being moved. (o_O)?! In one take, only a bit of the TV would be showing, then half of it would be there in the next take without the camera being moved (and there was no zooming involved). Also, the lighting would go from whitish to yellowish without any changes being made. (>_<*) Though it’s embarrassing to admit, I got so frustrated that I slammed my hand against the wall and accidentally skinned my wrist a bit. (^_^”)> Sorry for losing my cool… though you weren’t there to see it. m(_ _)m

– The hat I’m wearing was something that my eldest brother picked up for another of my brothers who stayed home when we were on vacation; it has “USS Constitution” written on the front, but I covered it with paper. (Did I mention that I loved the USS Constitution Museum? ♥)

– The anchor on my skirt was simply pinned on; I didn’t want to risk ruining the skirt in case glue didn’t come off completely.

– The red bow tie returns! XD (I know… a different kind of tie would have been better… orz) Not only the bow tie, but the huge bow on my head from the Christmas medley! =D

– I wanted to curl my hair for this, but my hair doesn’t hold curls very well. That, and my curling iron isn’t the best… XD

– I don’t know if I mentioned it on this blog or not (I’m fairly certain it was on my H!P blog, though), but I love speaking parts in songs, so, even though it wasn’t part of the song, I really wanted to do the spoken introduction for this dance. XD I hope I didn’t sound too bad…

– The “waves” were made on Paint (oh, but you definitely can’t tell, can you? XDD) and green screened in.

– I wanted to make the water in the border ripple or at least move like the seaweed from my “夏わかめ” dance cover, but, no matter what I did, it would glitch. =(

That’s it! That’s the last of the “~ Surimu☼Summer Set ~,” and the last of the Douyou Pops dance covers! I kind of doubt I’ll be doing something like this again, though it was nice to choose a bunch of dances myself.

Thank you for sticking with me~! ^_^
