夏わかめ (Dance Cover) Trivia

– This was filmed on July 22nd using my own camera. I found a program that allowed me to convert mp4 files to other types of files. ^_^

– I was originally going to wear my orange skirt for one side and my light blue skirt for the other side, but I decided to wear shorts instead.

– On the left side, I’m wearing a really neat ring (which you can’t see T_T); it has a bunch of little gold coins attached to it~.

– The background is actually a blurred picture of seaweed. Did you notice that it was moving? =D

– I learned the dance for the right side after I filmed the dance for the left side. Surprisingly, I only had to practice a few parts; I found that I could reverse a lot of the moves without having to really think about it. =D

– The right side took two takes; on the first take, I accidentally hit the wall when I moved my hand back for the “STARLIGHT” line. (^_^”)>

– For the move when I’m kind of shuffling toward and away from the camera with my hands on my shoulders, I had wanted to do it so that the two parts were going in opposite directions, but I kind of forgot to when I was filming. orz

– Notice that I had to, more or less, roll in place on the right side so that I didn’t get cut off (though I kind of did anyway).

– No; my feet are not dirty. That’s from dancing (and walking) on carpet barefoot all the time. XD

– One of my favorite parts of the video is actually one of the parts that I had to change up a little: the hand movements after the line “koi wa michi no sekai” (“恋は未知の世界”). I like how it turned out. =)

– On a previous take (from a different day, actually; when I was using the other camera), about a minute into the song, one of my contacts moved strangely in my eye, so I was getting a terrible glare from the lights. I didn’t want to ruin the take, though, so I kept going until the end. I was so proud that I didn’t mess up… only to find that the video blurred to much to be used. (>_<*) orz T__T

That’s all! Until tomorrow~~~!
