マトリョシカ (Dance Cover) Trivia

– I’ve been wanting to do this dance since I first saw the video about four and a half months ago, but I couldn’t figure out what I would do for the parts where I move to the other side. (Also, I didn’t have the confidence to try to learn the dance. orz)

– Filming was really hard for this; the problem was with the timing. I’m used to doing the whole dance in one go, so the timing was off for the cuts (where I switch places), and I had to speed them up, which looked really silly (…and not so great, I guess). T_T orz

– To keep my hood on for the red side, I had two safety pins inside the hood and two bobby pins that I put in my hair and through the safety pins as well. Unfortunately, during filming, the left bobby pin came undone and was rattling around on the safety pin. To make matters worse, it kept hitting me in the eye. (o_<*) orz

– I drew the face and put it on my hoodie with Elmer’s glue so I could take it off later… but I kind of like how it looks, so I might just leave it. XD

– I filmed the red side early in the morning, then practiced the green side for a few hours before going to sleep (I had been up for about twenty hours). I woke up later in the evening and filmed the green side then. You can see the daylight difference in the window. (^_^”)>

– I had proper black makeup to use, but I had too much trouble trying to make the lines neatly, so I ended up using black eyeliner. XD

– The border was made on Photoshop (on my old computer) using brushes from the site Obsidian Dawn (www.obsidiandawn.com).

– My jeans were indeed a bit long. XD That’s how I usually wore my pants when I was in high school. XDD

– When I had practiced this dance before, I tried doing the move near the end where you slide down with your leg stretched out… and I strained a muscle in my leg. (^_^”)> My foot was tingling for a few days, so I couldn’t dance at that time. orz

Aaand that’s it for trivia. There a short video (kind of vlog-ish?) on my Facebook page! =D You can get a closer look at my red hoodie and… wait, what was that?!

Yes, the tutorial can be downloaded. ^_^ Go to the homepage of my blog (just click the header picture), then, on the right side, under “Pages,” click on the link that says, “♣ Dance Tutorials ♣.” Scroll down to “Downloadable Tutorials.” Copy the password down, then click on “Matryoshka Tutorial.” Once you get to the download page, put the password in, then click on the link that appears. When a box comes up, click “Save File.” Once it’s downloaded, you should be able to extract the files by right clicking, then clicking “Extract All…” or something similar. (Sorry if I over-explained that; I wasn’t sure how much you knew. orz) I hope that helps! ^_^
