お母さん~ ♥

Ah, I was going to post for Mother’s Day, but I was in bed most of the day with a bad headache. (-_-”)> So…

Happy Belated Mother’s Day~!

I for one am incredibly grateful to my mom; she has helped me in so many ways with so many things, but, since this blog focuses primarily on my YouTube videos, I’d like to talk about how very, very supportive she has been of my dancing; in fact, not only is she the one who films everything, she’s also the reason that my dances are on YouTube.

I had been learning Hello! Project dances for a while, and, after I danced to “Kimagure Princess,” (and just happened to find an outfit that looked fairly close to theirs) she insisted that I film it and put it on YouTube.

I practiced a lot and did take after take of filming, but I still wasn’t satisfied with it (being an incurable perfectionist, unfortunately T_T), and I was way too embarrassed to upload it. My mom finally said, “I thought the last one looked good, and I know other people will, too.  You are going to put it up now.” And I did. And, when I saw that I was actually getting views (as well as five-star ratings, and positive comments), I was really happy. Of course, my mom was happy too… but also smug. XD It was definitely an, “I told you so,” moment for her. XP

On (kind of) a similar note, she is not only supportive of my interests, she becomes interested in them as well. XD She’s watched a few Japanese dramas with me (including MR. BRAIN, Tokyo Dogs, and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge), and also knows who’s who in NEWS, Arashi, and KAT-TUN, as well as many of the Hello! Project groups. And of course she likes their music, too~; I’ve heard her humming Arashi songs while ironing. XD

But, like I said, I am so very grateful that I have such an awesome mother. I don’t tell her that often, because I’m not a very emotional person (as in “mushy,” or “cheesy;” I got that trait from her XD), but I like to think she knows.  Just in case, though…

Love you, Mom~! I really appreciate you~. ♥ ^_^ I’m going to e-mail you a link to this post, so you’ll probably read it while I’m in my room; I want to know your reaction. =D Also… remember that you need to watch “Atashinchi no Danshi,” okay? XD
