I know (MINI Clip) Trivia

April 15, 2018

– This was filmed on April 5th.

– The hardest part of the dance was mostly just trying to figure out exactly what they were doing (because most performances focused on Ayaya, who didn’t do as much dancing).

– Figuring out the outfit was almost more difficult than the dance. XD I wanted to use that blue hair extension, so I tried to base the outfit around that.

– My favorite part of the dance is during the line “ちっちゃく!OH YEAH!”. =D

That’s all for this one! Not much to it… Thank you for watching and reading! ^__^

風に吹かれて (Dance Cover) Trivia

April 6, 2018

– This was filmed on March 18th.

– I bought that shirt (on sale, of course XD) specifically for this dance. It was just a plain, kind of loose-fitting, light yellow shirt, but I cut it up and added ribbons to pretty it up~. The ribbons were not only to make it fit better but also to add a fluttery effect to go with the “blown by the wind” theme of the song. =)

– I actually really rather like how the outfit turned out~. I’ve always like draping ribbons (so I’m kind of happy about that being a trend right now… though it might already be going away XD orz), and I’ve also always liked cold-shoulder tops (which was a trend not too long ago as well). I thought the colors went well together, too (they were supposed to kind of match Kanatomo’s from the original video).

– I had this dance mostly learned… I can’t even remember when… a couple years ago, maybe? But then I got distracted working on other dances and never did film this (much like the situation with “Heroine ni Narou ka!”). (^_^”)

– I started practicing this one in early February (around the time I filmed a lot of my dances for March), but I had to stop for a while because I was getting a pain in my foot that felt similar to the time I had tendonitis… and I didn’t want to deal with that. O_O

– The arm movements from around 2:50 to 2:53 were also killer on my shoulders, which haven’t been in the best condition lately. orz

– My hair kept getting in my face, but I didn’t want to tie it back because, again, “blown by the wind” was the theme, so I wanted the free movement.

I think that’s it…? Yes, I think that’s it. Thank you for watching and reading! =D

Final Fantasy VII Chocobo Dance (Dance Cover) Trivia

March 31, 2018

– This was filmed on March 22nd.

– I briefly considered buying some large feathers dyed yellow to use for the outfit… but then I realized how ridiculous it would be to do that for a dance that’s less than forty seconds long. (^_^”) orz

– The wings are, of course, from my dance cover of “Pyoko Pyoko Ultra.”

– I did multiple takes to try to make it look… as good as it could for what it was. XD

– This “dance” is made up of five moves: a jump, kicks, hip shakes, arm flaps, and a head swivel (left to right, right to left, or both). I watched a few videos of that part of the game to make sure that there wasn’t a set order to the moves… and there wasn’t. =)

– I actually followed the music/beat a little more closely with my dance than the… chocobos did. XD

That’s all for this… dance cover? XD Thanks for watching and reading~!

Outfit for Upcoming Final Fantasy VII Chocobo Dance Cover

March 30, 2018

So, I dressed up to do the chocobo dance from Final Fantasy VII… Because why not? XD

Chocobo Dance Outfit

This was going to be an April Fool’s Day upload, but I’ll be celebrating Easter on the 1st, so I decided to upload this video on March 31st instead~. I’m not sure if it’s really considered a dance cover, because it’s only about forty seconds long (and the dance doesn’t have a set choreography), but please look forward to it~! XD

桜チラリ (MINI Clip) Trivia

March 19, 2018

– This was filmed on February 16th.

– This is one of those dances that’s so simple that it’s easy to make it look bad. O_O I actually had to be very mindful of how to move my arms/bend my elbows and how big my steps should be.

– The boots might not fit the outfit, but anything else I tried didn’t allow me to turn as easily. (^_^”)

– I tried to be careful about making the outfit look different from the one I had in “Ooki na Ai de Motenashite,” because that also used pink, white, and little pink and white flowers.

– My favorite part might be the fast, tiny steps that I take just before the first verse. ^__^

– I had debated as to whether or not I should do a full dance cover for this one… but there’s really not much to the dance, so I felt I couldn’t really justify it with so many others left to do. orz

I think that’s it for this one~. Thank you for watching and reading! =D
